About Scarlett
I am a USA-based female piano and keyboard tutor with 5 years of online live teaching experience helping K-12 students, high school learners, and college first-year students improve piano and keyboard skills through patient instruction and interactive learning methods. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Music Education with a focus on Keyboard Studies and beginner music instruction. I enjoy creating lessons that feel comfortable and easy to follow because I believe students learn faster when they feel supported and encouraged during class!
I received the “Silver Ivory Creativity Award” and the “Harmony Lights Mentor Medal” for my friendly teaching style and beginner-focused piano instruction programs. I specialize in Piano Performance, Keyboard Learning, Synthesizer Practice, Music Reading, and Rhythm Development for young learners and beginner musicians. I enjoy simplifying complicated topics into manageable steps so students can improve confidently while enjoying the learning process. My teaching style focuses on patience, encouragement, and clear communication during every lesson!
Outside teaching, I enjoy visiting botanical gardens, baking homemade pastries, listening to soft jazz playlists, crafting handmade candles, and exploring local weekend art fairs across the United States. These hobbies help me stay creative and positive while bringing fresh energy into my online lessons. I always work to create a calm and welcoming classroom atmosphere where students feel comfortable learning music at their own pace!

My online one-to-one live piano, keyboard, and synthesizer lessons are designed for K-12 students, high school learners, college first-year students, and all age groups who want supportive and beginner-friendly music instruction. I focus on helping students understand piano concepts clearly while building confidence, creativity, rhythm control, and strong musical foundations. I understand that many students learn at different speeds, so I always create lessons according to each student’s comfort level, learning style, and musical interests. Students can send practice recordings, lesson topics, school assignments, or music pieces before class so I can prepare personalized sessions that match their goals perfectly!
I teach Acoustic Piano, Electronic Keyboard, Synthesizer Basics, Chord Progressions, Rhythm Training, Music Reading, Beginner Improvisation, Finger Coordination, Melody Practice, and Introductory Composition Skills. My teaching style is interactive and easy to follow because I enjoy turning difficult musical ideas into simple explanations students can understand comfortably. I use guided exercises, visual examples, and step-by-step practice methods to help students improve steadily without stress. Some students enjoy structured classical learning while others prefer pop songs, worship music, or creative keyboard playing, so I adjust lessons according to student interests and learning preferences!
During classes, I focus on creating a positive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and practice confidently. I provide warm-up exercises, rhythm activities, note-reading support, and practice strategies that help students improve gradually. I also help students prepare for school performances, beginner recitals, talent shows, and introductory college music classes. My lessons combine patience, encouragement, and organized teaching methods to help students enjoy learning while also improving their technical and creative abilities!
I believe learning music should feel exciting and comfortable instead of stressful or confusing. My goal is to help students become more confident musicians through supportive and engaging online lessons. I enjoy helping beginners feel successful while also guiding intermediate learners toward better performance quality and musical understanding. My classes are designed to be interactive, motivating, and easy to understand for students of all ages and experience levels!
