About Dianelene

Hello! My name is Diane, and I am a first-year Bachelor of Education student specializing in the Intermediate Phase. I am passionate about helping young learners build strong English skills and confidence in their learning. As a future primary school teacher, I understand the importance of patience, encouragement, and creating a supportive learning environment. My lessons are interactive, structured, and suited to each child’s needs. I focus on reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and comprehension using age-appropriate activities that make learning enjoyable and meaningful. Even though I am at the beginning of my teaching career, I have a lot of experience with children as I am a Sunday school teacher I am committed, hardworking, and dedicated to every student’s progress. I believe every learner can succeed with the right guidance and motivation, and my goal is to help each child feel confident, capable, and excited about learning English. I look forward to supporting your child’s growth and celebrating their achievements along the way.

About the lesson

I use a learner-centred, supportive teaching approach focused on building confidence, language skills, and understanding at a pace that suits each child. My lessons are interactive and structured, using age-appropriate activities, reading exercises, vocabulary practice, phonics, and guided writing to make English learning enjoyable and meaningful.

I am proficient in English and teach in a clear, patient, and encouraging manner. In a typical lesson, students can expect warm guidance, step-by-step support, and engaging tasks designed to strengthen comprehension, speaking, grammar, and sentence structure. I also incorporate real-life examples to help learners connect classroom learning to everyday communication.

My lessons are aimed at primary school students who are learning English as a first or additional language, particularly Grades 3–7. I support beginners and developing learners, and focus on helping each student improve their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills while developing self-confidence and a love for learning.
