About Jay
I'm a qualified mechanical engineer and when I was faced with building a room in my garden I decided to design a Passivhaus, a German construction design that massively reduces heating costs by using a combination of air tightness, insulation and ventilation techniques that can conserve from 70% to 90% of waste heat usually exiting the building.
