About Willa
With over 14 years of experience as a piano teacher, I’ve had the joy of guiding students through the beautiful world of music. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Piano Performance, which has shaped both my playing and my teaching approach. My lessons focus not just on playing the right notes, but on feeling the music deeply and expressing emotion through every phrase. I believe that connecting emotionally to music is just as important as building technical skill. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, I help you find your personal voice on the piano. I’m passionate about helping students feel confident, inspired, and connected to what they’re playing. At the same time, I place strong emphasis on theory and technique. These are the building blocks that allow students to grow and play with freedom. I break down complex ideas into simple steps that are easy to follow and remember. My teaching style is supportive, creative, and tailored to each student’s pace and goals. I love seeing students light up when they master something new or discover a piece they truly connect with. Piano is more than just an instrument—it's a way to express, explore, and enjoy life. I’m here to help you make that journey meaningful and exciting.

In my piano lessons, I blend structure with creativity to make learning exciting and fun. I teach music theory in a simple, step-by-step way so students build a strong foundation. We also work on listening skills to help train the ear and understand music deeply. I believe music should be felt, not just played—so expressive playing is a big part of every lesson.
To make rhythm come alive, I use movement-based rhythm games that bring energy and joy into practice. My lessons mix traditional methods with modern tools to keep things fresh and engaging. Whether we’re exploring classical pieces or producing digital sounds, I guide students to find their unique musical voice.
I support students who dream of composing or producing music by helping them master both technique and creativity. I encourage experimentation and teach them how to shape their ideas into real music. Each lesson is a safe space to grow, try new things, and build confidence.
With over 14 years of experience, I understand how to adapt to every learner’s style. My goal is to make you fall in love with the piano and enjoy the journey every step of the way.
