As a person of colour ,I understand the struggles that most students of colour have with the subject. Therefore I can easily relate and empathise with them and I can interact with them easier. With my lessons ,I go about sharing my experiences and what helped me achieve my distinction in Afrikaans. With my childcare experience from teaching at Sunday school ,I am very capable of teaching this subject.
