About Laetitia
I am a Year 13 student at Westminster school studying Pre-U English, Spanish, French and History, offering help and exam prep in all those subjects up to GCSE! I'm an A* student, predicted a D2 in Spanish and History and a D1 in French and English, and an Oxford offer-holder in Spanish and English. Having recently sat my GCSEs, in which I achieved nine 9s and two 8s, I know what it takes to get good grades and will help you improve your strengths and weaknesses to reach your full potential! I've grown up in a bi-lingual household and I've always loved reading and writing so I am passionate about languages and humanities. I hope to help you see how much fun learning can be!

My aim as a tutor is to help students achieve their full potential and get good grades, whilst developing their own style and thinking. I try to connect with students as much as possible, in order to build on existing skills and improve current weaknesses. I offer classes to primary school students, those prepping for 11+ and GCSE, and those prepping for 16+. Students can tell me what topic/skills they would prefer to focus on and I will tailor my classes accordingly. I also make sure a topic is consolidated before moving on to a new one. With regards to essay writing, I'm keen to push students to find their own style, something I have been encouraged to do since A Level; I therefore correct drafts with detailed and clear instructions and advice, so that students can rework sections that could be improved, learning from their mistakes in the process. This will not only help them stick to the mark scheme in order to achieve excellent grades, but also hone their natural ability to write fluently and in a captivating way, an invaluable skill.
