About Charlotte
Hi! I’m Charlotte, a recent graduate from the Royal Northern College of Music, where I studied in the School of Vocal Studies and Opera and graduated with a first-class degree.
I have a range of performing experience - singing in operas, choral performances, musical theatre performances, recitals and concerts. My background is particularly rooted in classical, choral, and operatic singing, but I also love working on musical theatre and other contemporary styles.
Whatever your musical interests, I’ll help you develop the skills and confidence to make the most of your unique voice.
I’ve taught both privately and at Stagecoach Musical Theatre Schools, working with students of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re just starting out or already have some experience, I’ll make sure our lessons suit you — your goals, your pace, and your interests.
I’m a friendly, approachable, and adaptable teacher who believes singing lessons should be enjoyable and encouraging. Maybe you want to work towards exams, prepare for a concert or audition, or just sing because it makes you happy — whatever your reason, I’ll tailor our lessons to help you get exactly what you want out of them.
Most importantly, I want singing to be something you look forward to every week — a time to have fun, express yourself, and see your confidence grow!

Every student is different, so no two lessons will ever be exactly the same!
You can choose the lesson length that works best for you — 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 1 hour — depending on your goals and schedule.
Each lesson will always have solid vocal technique at its core, woven in naturally so you’re improving without even realising it. We’ll focus on developing a healthy, sustainable sound and a deeper understanding of how your voice works, while keeping everything enjoyable and accessible.
You can expect:
- A relaxed and positive atmosphere where you feel comfortable exploring your voice.
- Warm-ups and exercises designed to strengthen technique and build confidence.
- An understanding of how your voice works, helping you to sing safely and with greater control.
- Repertoire that excites you — whether that’s classical, musical theatre, choral, opera or something else entirely.
- Goal-focused learning, whether you’re working towards exams, a performance, or just singing for fun.
- Plenty of encouragement and laughter! I want lessons to be something you look forward to each week.

Perfect! Charlotte was like a breath of fresh air. Talked through my present level and what my goals were . Sang a short version of a song I was learning and was given some positive feedback which has uplifted me after negative comments from my Guitar tutor .
Looking forward to my 1st full lesson with Charlotte next week .

Charlotte is a friendly and supportive teacher with a bubbling music career of her own. She was one of the RNCM’s 2025 top sopranos and has many an opera under her belt. Charlotte comes alive when working with children and it is a privilege to have worked with her. I highly recommend her as a music teacher.
