About Martina
With 12 years of experience as a Guitar tutor, I have worked with students of different ages and goals. I teach school children, college youth, and working professionals who wish to explore music deeply or simply enjoy learning.
My teaching philosophy is simple: learn slowly, practise regularly, and grow confidently. I focus on building a strong foundation in chords, scales, strumming patterns, and timing. I believe in giving personal attention to each student and understanding their strengths and weaknesses.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have guided many students to perform successfully on stage. Several of them have gained recognition in competitions and cultural events. Seeing their confidence grow is my greatest achievement.
I encourage creativity and self-expression in my classes. I maintain discipline while keeping the atmosphere friendly and supportive. My aim is to help students develop real skills and long-lasting confidence in their musical journey.

In my Guitar classes, I use a progressive and student-centred teaching system that focuses on steady improvement and musical enjoyment. My core values are Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I understand that each student learns at a different pace, so I adjust my teaching methods according to their comfort level.
Beginners learn basic open chords, simple strumming patterns, and rhythm exercises, while advanced students work on scales, lead playing, fingerstyle patterns, and improvisation techniques. Motivation is encouraged through regular progress tracking and positive reinforcement. I maintain open communication to ensure students feel comfortable sharing doubts or difficulties. Integrity is reflected in my attention to correct posture, timing accuracy, and sound clarity. I believe strong basics create confident performers.
Creativity is an important part of my methodology; I encourage students to create their own melodies, experiment with chord combinations, and play songs from different styles. I also include music theory lessons, ear training exercises, and performance skills to help students grow as complete musicians.
