I focus on ensuring that students enjoy themselves before diving into technique. When lessons are engaging and fun, learning new skills becomes much easier. My approach always prioritizes building a positive and enjoyable relationship with each student.
Typically, a lesson begins with a brief warm-up to get the student comfortable at the piano and ready to focus. We then review any previous material to reinforce learning and address any questions. After that, I introduce new concepts or pieces, breaking them down into manageable steps while encouraging creativity and expression. The lesson usually ends with a fun exercise to consolidate skills and leave the student feeling accomplished and motivated for the next session.
