About Noah

I have been playing the guitar for 10+ years now, in many different environments. I have studied on my own, also through private tutoring, and through school in the form of a music performance qualification. I have played live on stage as a member of 3 different bands, and have been involved in various other smaller projects. I have experience recording and mixing too.

My main area of expertise is in rock and metal, but what makes a well rounded musician is an appreciation for all genres and what they can teach us.

For me, music is an amazing creative and expressive outlet, and also a way to channel and develop qualities like determination, analytical thinking and teamwork. I want to share my passion for music with those who are coming up on their journey.

About the lesson

The approach I like to take to teaching is to follow the students natural curiosity and interests. Learning from your favourite artists is always the best way to be engaged with the techniques you're trying to learn. The goals can be of course tailored to the individual, but as a general outlook I always try to encourage and create an artistic and creative appreciation for music as well as a technical one. Understanding why an artist plays a certain way is just as important as how, and will lead you to manifesting your own creative ideas with more fulfillment.
Our lessons can be made to match your pace and your progress in learning. I think 1 hour once or twice a week is a good structure but this of course depends on the students own needs and scheduling. I can do lessons either in person or online, and if in person I can provide guitars and equipment if necessary.
My style will hopefully lead to students who can have fun with their instrument, and have the skills and knowledge to write their own music or start their own band in the future.
My aim is to help you to be creative, and to have a fun rewarding experience with your instrument.
