About Connor

Music and guitar was my first real love. Initially self-taught when I started learning rock and metal covers at 13, but later expanded my horizons when I studied music at college and then university. I have experience playing Acoustic and Electric, covering genres from Rock, Metal, Funk, Pop, Reggae and more. I’ve played in original and covers bands, written songs, performed at weddings, busked in London, jammed with strangers and made lifelong friends, all through my time with music and guitar.

About the lesson

Music is totally unique to everyone and I feel lessons should be the same. We would focus on what you want to learn, assess where you are already and work to take you where you want to be! We can start with the basics and move on to mastering chord shapes, scales, strumming/picking techniques, chord progressions and rhythm. We can use these techniques to help you write tasteful riffs, cool lead lines or just play along to your favorite songs. I can also help with your music theory, reading tab or sheet music. Despite music and guitar being a deeply personal expression, it’s also so much better when it’s shared. In my experience spending time with someone who is passionate about music is powerful, fun and inspiring for both parties, so let’s use that to build lessons that are meaningful and enjoyable for both of us!
