About Nellie
I started as a Girl Friday which in those days were the one person to fill a position should someone in admin be absent at Trichamp in Isando worked my way up and joined the Maxiprest tyres team where I mostly did stock control and later on Crefitors from there I worked in a mining environment at Glencore Xstrata as Creditors Clerk and Expeditor and as junior buyer I worked at Maxiprest Tyres for 5 years and then at Xstrara for 14 years. I did temp work as a lecturer at Damlin College in Polokwane before we moved to Brits where I taught Excel beginner classes and enjoyed it so much to see young people thrive and to be able to make a diffrence. And that is what I would love to do again it was there where I found that I enjoyed lecturing so much but as life takes us places I ended up at Glencore Xstrata. My husband started his own business and I left Glencore to run his office till this day but due to Covid we had to scale down thus the free time now to be able to teach
