About Livia
I am a guitar tutor with 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Guitar. I have worked with over 200 students from all backgrounds and skill levels. My teaching covers classical, jazz, acoustic, electric, and bass guitar with strong technique and theory throughout. I am passionate about helping every student find genuine joy and creative confidence in guitar playing. My lessons are engaging, structured, and always tailored to the individual. I use backing tracks, chord apps, and DAW tools to make lessons modern and practically relevant. I have helped students perform live, record original music, and pass graded examinations. My guitar lessons develop strong technical foundations while keeping every session creative, musical, and genuinely rewarding. I assess each student's current level and goals at the start so every lesson is immediately relevant and motivating. Warm-ups develop scales, chord transitions, and picking exercises to build coordination and confidence progressively. Music theory is connected directly to the music students are working on in every lesson so every concept has immediate practical application. Songwriters receive dedicated coaching on chord harmony, melody development, and arranging original compositions into finished pieces. Performance students work on stage confidence and delivering consistent performances under pressure. Backing tracks are used throughout to develop timing, groove, and genuine musical expressiveness. Digital tools including DAWs and amp simulators reflect the modern music-making landscape students inhabit. Clear weekly practice plans ensure consistent progress between sessions. My commitment is for every student to become a confident, creative, and passionate guitarist.
