About Isabella
I started guitar lessons at 10 years old, and I have been hooked ever since! I studied a Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Cape Town, specializing in Classical Guitar, and I graduated with distinction. Last year, I studied Postgraduate Certificate in Education, and I am now a qualified full-time music teacher. I currently teach guitar at three esteemed schools in Cape Town, and have tutored Music Theory since 2021.

I believe that creating a safe and inclusive teaching environment will allow my pedagogy to inspire pupils to achieve to their fullest potential. I would describe myself as patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic, and I believe that anyone can learn music theory, regardless of your age or prior abilities. I teach in English, but can understand a bit of Afrikaans.
I can teach Music Theory up to University level. A typical lesson will consist of learning/tutoring music theory, with the aid of textbooks and music recordings.
