About Mitchel
Hi! I’m Ms Nompumelelo Mitchel Ndlovu, a passionate and dedicated educator with experience working with learners across different age groups, learning levels, and academic needs. I offer tutoring support across the Intermediate Phase, Senior Phase, and FET Phase.
I provide tutoring in English, Natural Sciences & Technology, Social Sciences (Geography and History), and general academic support, depending on the learner’s grade and curriculum requirements.
My teaching approach is patient, engaging, structured, and learner-centred. I understand that every learner is different, so I take the time to identify areas of difficulty and adapt my lessons to suit each learner’s individual needs, learning pace, and level of understanding.
I enjoy breaking down challenging concepts into simple, manageable steps and using real-life examples, visuals, discussions, guided activities, revision exercises, and practical applications to make learning easier and more meaningful.
I can assist learners with homework, assignments, test and examination preparation, revision, improving subject understanding, study skills, and building academic confidence.
I’m particularly passionate about supporting learners who may struggle with confidence or feel that a subject is “too difficult.” My aim is to create a supportive space where learners feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning from them.
Whether a learner needs additional support to catch up, wants to strengthen their understanding, or wants to challenge themselves academically, I am committed to helping them make meaningful progress.
My goal is simple: to make learning understandable, enjoyable, and achievable while helping every learner reach their full potential.

I am a passionate and patient English tutor based in Johannesburg, offering both online and in-person lessons for Grade 4 to Grade 12 learners (CAPS & IEB).

Whether you want to go from a 50% to 70%, or from 70% to 80%+, I will help you get there.
