About Ruby
Personal Bio/ Approach to learning - Why I tutor: I absolutely love working with kids/teenagers being able to assist in the academic growth, development and overall success. I have found that good study habits/skills and routine have allowed me succeed in my academic pursuits and want to pass those learnt habits on. I think whilst learning good habits and developing a solid understanding of the basic concepts and further is so important, I also think that learning should be an enjoyable experience for the individual student and will work extremely hard for that to be the case. RE: Kids with learning disabilities I completely understand from personal experience the difficulties in learning aligned with having ADHD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia etc and would love to pass on tried and true study habits and skills that accommodated for those allowing me to not only keep up with my classmates but achieve extremely high marks.
I understand every person is different and have all the patience and time in the world to figure out a style of learning that works for the specific individual and allows them to develop and find joy in learning:)
