About Gabrielle
As an RN for 6 years in various hospital units, I bring a high level of clinical expertise and real-life examples into my tutoring. During my collegiate career, I was a hired tutor for the accelerated nursing students, so I have specific experience in working with nursing students in all areas of nursing. These areas include Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Medical Surgical Nursing, OB and Peds, and many more subjects.

I struggled to learn how to think like a nurse when I was first in nursing school. I aim to help you learn not only the material for your classes, but also learn how to change the way you think.
My tutoring sessions are geared toward nursing students in any point of their nursing courses and those who have graduated and looking for NCLEX prep tips/studying.
During our first session I like to learn about you and your learning style and specific areas that you need some extra help in. We will discuss your goals and what you want to get out of tutoring as well as come up with a game plan to tackle specific material in meaningful ways.
I like to use graphics, sample test questions, and other meaningful exercises to help my students learn. I generally do not use a lesson plan, I go based off of what my students are currently learning about and specific questions they need help with at that time. I always try to take into consideration my student's style of learning and present material in a different way to really make it stick!
