With 29 years of nursing experience and a BSN from Gardner-Webb, I bring a wealth of real-world knowledge to tutoring. I teach in the LPN program at a community college in NC focusing on student success, clinical competence, and NCLEX readiness. As an experienced RN with a BSN from Gardner-Webb and nearly three decades of nursing expertise, I bring real-world knowledge and practical application into each tutoring session. My approach centers on breaking down complex nursing concepts into digestible parts, making learning interactive and engaging. I adapt my teaching methods to each student’s learning style, using tools like visual aids, case studies, and practice questions to reinforce understanding and critical thinking.
A typical lesson plan includes:

Interactive Learning – We’ll work through scenarios and NCLEX-style questions to build confidence and problem-solving skills.
