About Gabi
Hi! I'm a Part 1 architecture graduate now studying for my Master's MArch Part 2 in Oxford. I have taken part in international architectural competitions and won an award with two certificates for my architectural dissertation. Alongside my studies, I've built up strong practical skills in Photoshop, Revit, InDesign, and Enscape. I also work traditionally: drawing, painting and collage. I use these techniques throughout my own design process from early concept development to final presentation. I think the two go hand in hand, especially since it's more important than ever to refine traditional skills in the age of AI!
I've been an architecture mentor for a year and have worked at an art and design school for 3 years, so I have teaching experience with people of all ages, from children to adults. I know first-hand how daunting architectural education can feel at every stage, such as A-Level coursework, putting together a portfolio for university, and surviving your first years of a degree. I want to help others build confidence and enjoy the process, whether that's learning a new piece of software, developing a design idea, or preparing work for submission.
