About Andy
In 2004 I returned from travelling New Zealand and discovered Parkour and free running. It was what I was made for and I trained hard every day learning the best way - by falling a lot! Since then I Built a group of over 30 other enthusiasts which we called 'The Urban Shadows'. We became the most prolific Parkour and free running group in the south east, training as a group 4 times a week. We did shows and events all over and have hundreds of videos on you tube. I was the leader, I started it all and have been looking for a way to teach again but in a smaller way. I think I may have found it :) (concealed information)

I teach primarily by example; I will demonstrate, then let you know what exactly the body is doing and then help you to do it. Obviously it all depends upon what your body and your mind think you can do so we can go as slow or fast as you need. Safety is paramount! It took me 2 weeks just to learn to roll properly but because it took so long it is now innate and its saved my bacon more thank once! This is what I aim to instill - not just a mindless desire to copy crazy moves, but an understanding and an awareness of our bodies potentials and its limits, as well as respect for them and our environment. Climbing, jumping, rolling and running - its all part of the fun. It doesn't matter what your fitness level may (or may not) be - we can all do parkour in relation to that level so dont be shy.

Standard cancellation policy: If you cancel with less than 24 hours until lesson time there is a 50% charge. If you cancel with more than 24 hours notice then thats fine.
