About Hayden Paul
I studied Music at Parel Vallei High School for five years, and learnt nine instruments during my time there, namely:
voice, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, piano, drums, double bass and keyboard. Voice is my main instrument, and has been since the beginning.
I am a classically trained Baritenor, or when I am practising my pop-repertoire, I am a lyric tenor. I have performed at the High School Band Slam at the V&A Waterfront as the lead singer of PV's Big Band, as well as a sold out show at The Artscape. Across my five years of Music training, I also competed in the Stellenbosch and Helderberg Eistedfodd's, achieving a Cum Laude grading across multiple genres for five years consecutively. I also achieved and maintained an average of 90% for Afrikaans EAT during my time at PV, and even being in the ATKV Committee, and doing Redenaars in Afrikaans.

I prefer to learn who my student is as a whole first before launching a specific teaching style onto them. I am able to adapt to my learners' way of thinking, and use that to connect with them on their terms, and in a way that they will understand the best. I can teach anywhere from Grade 1 - 12 in my above mentioned subjects. Students can expect some humour, hard work and growth during sessions with me.
