Assalamu Alaikum! My name is a recent A-Level graduate preparing to enter university. I am passionate about helping students of all ages build a deep, confident connection with the Quran through clear, accurate, and patient instruction.
Having excelled in an English-medium academic environment, I bring a structured, highly organized approach to teaching. I specialize in taking complex Tajweed rules and breaking them down into simple, easy-to-understand concepts. My teaching approach is patient, structured, and focused on clear pronunciation and proper Tajweed rules. I break down lessons into manageable steps to make learning feel natural and manageable rather than overwhelming.
Interactive Pronunciation (Makharij): I pay close attention to the points of articulation for each letter, helping them build the right muscle memory for accurate recitation.
Step-by-Step Progress: We move at the student's personal pace, ensuring complete mastery of simple rules before moving advanced Tajweed concepts.
Encouraging Environment: I aim to keep lessons positive and supportive, helping students build confidence in their recitation without fear of making mistakes.
A standard 45-to-60-minute lesson is divided into three key sections:
Warm-Up & Revision (10–15 mins): We review the previous lesson’s passage to consolidate what was learned and check retention.
New Lesson & Tajweed Rule (20–25 mins): We introduce the new lesson (whether Qaida or Quranic verses), focusing on correct pronunciation and introducing a specific Tajweed concept (e.g., Madd, Ghunnah, or Noon Sakin rules).
As a recent A-Level graduate preparing for university, I combine strict attention to Tajweed with a modern, approachable teaching style.
Relatable & Patient Communication: My background in English-medium education allows me to explain complex Tajweed concepts in clear, easy-to-understand English or Urdu without unnecessary jargon.
Tailored Pace: I recognize that every learner retains rules differently, so I adapt my pacing and feedback to suit each individual student's learning style.
Focus on Fluency and Accuracy: My goal isn't just to finish chapters, but to build lasting confidence so students can read accurately and smoothly on their own.
My lessons are open to:
Beginners of All Ages: Students starting from the very beginning with the Noorani Qaida (learning Arabic letters, vowels, and basic joining).
Intermediate Readers: Students reading the Quran who want to refine their Tajweed, improve their speed, and correct pronunciation mistakes.
Young Children & Female Learners: Children looking for an engaging, supportive environment, and sisters looking for a dedicated female Quran tutor.
Practice & Homework Guidance (10–15 mins): The student recites the new portion under direct guidance, correcting any mistakes on the spot. We finish with a clear set of goals for their practice before the next class
