About Hannah
I am a third year student of Modern Languages at the Univeristy of Oxford, and I love teaching because I enjoy working closely with individuals and watching their improvement as time goes on. I recently returned from a year abroad in which I taught English in a secondary school in Germany, which I found extremely rewarding and exciting, and I am keen to continue teaching in a more personalised context.

I create personalised lesson plans for each of my students based on their particular needs, combining speaking, listening, writing and grammar in order to develop general language skills. I am very approachable and friendly, and always make sure my students know that confidence and fluency are the most important aspects of language learning, so they know not to be afraid to make mistakes when speaking with me. I listen carefully to what my students want and where they think they most need to improve, so that we can work together to make sure lessons are both productive and enjoyable.
