About Tyler
Whether it's drafting an email to a supervisor, writing a course assignment, or preparing a speech, the ability to clearly articulate your thoughts in writing is essential for our daily lives. I am currently pursuing my PhD at the University of Oxford. In the past, I earned postgraduate degrees from UCL (Science and Technology Studies) and Saïd Business School (Master of Business Administration), and worked as a consultant at Deloitte in New York City. Throughout these experiences, I've had the opportunity to write for many mediums, such as academic journals, school applications, business reports, and personal blogs. I am a patient tutor and will help you achieve your academic and professional goals. Having worked with people all around the world, I am motivated to support international students working in their non-native language.

My lessons follow an active learning approach that is collaborative and bespoke. Depending on your needs, our lessons can focus on: 1) Research skills: We will focus on strategies to identify, understand, and synthesise information when preparing for essays or dissertations. 2) Writing strategies: We will work together on your ability to formulate well-structured arguments and present a nuanced perspective in your writing. 3) Practical improvement: We will use your current assignments or school applications to identify your strengths and development areas to produce immediate changes in your work.
