About Ludovic
I obtained a First Class Honours Degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at King's College London, a Masters in Development Studies at the University of Cambridge and a PhD in International Development at the University of Oxford. I have taught since 2015 over 700 hours, including:
- at the University of Oxford: Masters students in Development Studies
- at the high school 'Greene's College Oxford': Economics A-level/IB
- as a private tutor: Undergraduate and high school students in Economics.
I published research in top academic journals and newspapers (cf links below) and worked as a consultant for several United Nations agencies.
Aside of teaching and consulting, I am President of the equine coaching NGO Isofaculté in Provence, France, that works with the French Ministry of Education, the Fondation de France, and over 30 other institutional partners to promote social reinsertion, wellbeing, and performance. I am a mentor and a tutor. In addition to helping students assimilate course content, I advise on:
- essay structure & exam techniques
- university/course selection & cover letter
- internships and job applications
- in the case of postgraduates: research applications and strategies.
I encourage my students to be pro-active learners by indicating the topics they want to discuss and preparing their questions in advance so as to maximise the quality of each meeting. Sessions are interactive and prepared in advance to adapt to the needs of each student.
My students have progressed rapidly and received offers from prestigious universities, including the University of Oxford, St Andrews, King's College London, Edinburgh, Tsinghua University, and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
