About Chan
Sa-was-dee ka! I'm Chan, and I'm an Oxford University graduate, lawyer and also a native Thai based in Central London.
I'm teaching Thai because I love my language and my culture, and I want to spread knowledge about Thai language and culture as a way of staying connected with my home.
Being a trained lawyer means I am structured, professional and punctual. My classes are meant to be FUN (of course!) - but they are also meant to ensure that you get the most out of your time.

Sa-was-dee ka! I'm teaching Thai because I love it, and I hope you do too! I am a trained lawyer, so my lessons tend to be organised, and fairly structured - though with a bit of FUN!
My philosophy is that learning a language requires learning a culture too, so be prepared because my lessons always introduce Thai culture as well.
Aside from that, I am happy to tailor the class to you. If you want to focus on reading/writing, pronunciation, or if you just want to learn conversational Thai for fun or for business, we can agree where we want to take it. Especially for adult learners, YOU are in charge of where we want lessons to go and I will help get you to your destination.
I have taught children and adults. With an open mind, anyone can learn a new language and culture!
Each online lesson is typically 1-2 hours (with breaks for longer lessons).

Perfect! Speaks English very well, which meant I could communicate my Thai learning goals. Chan understands structure in languages and the building blocks very well and her passion shows in her body and facial expressions! Classes are a pleasure and enlighten the mood and learning experience!
