The students I have taught in the past have had processing difficulties and dyslexia, each lesson is tailored to their needs. For example, understanding particular analytical vocabulary like the term 'antagonist' and teaching how to use it in their essays.
An example of an activity I do with students is exploring essential techniques for creating depth to their essays, such as exploring critic opinions of the text and how to engage with the critic appropriately in their essay.
In addition to this I cover: exam strategy, how to really use extra time, and how to understand the exam question.
