About Rebecca
Applying for Oxbridge can be terrifying and stressful. I wish that I had somebody to guide me through the process when I applied, and show me that the process isn't as stressful as people often make it, and that it is very possible to get in.
I have over two years experience of tutoring students in subjects such as maths, physics and Spanish. From my own preparation for the Oxford interview process, as well as inside knowledge that I have gained from the very tutors who will interview prospective students, I have created an effective strategy to prepare for the interview and construct an effective personal statement. I understand what the interviewers are looking for, and how you can show your most authentic self whilst still smashing that interview!

I am a current Oxford student providing help with the Oxbridge application process for biology and biochemistry students.
This involves mock interviews with feedback as well as other interview preparation, and personal statement assistance and proofreading.
Before any mock interview with me, I would need a copy of your personal statement in order to look for "hooks" which the interviewers will likely pick up on and ask about.
I will then formulate some introduction questions based on these hooks, and also use an interview question from my own bank- these tend to be similar to a real tutorial, where you work through a long question with the tutors.
Personal statement consultation sessions involve me discussing with the student what their passion points are within the subject, finding life experiences that will help to reinforce their skill and passion, and helping them to word it in a concise way that will appeal to Oxford recruiters.
