About Tanya
I’ve worked with a wide range of students in diverse settings, including volunteering with educational charities, running summer schools, and providing one-on-one tutoring. I take a warm, approachable, and compassionate approach to tutoring. Each session is tailored to the individual, ensuring that students leave feeling positive, empowered, and capable. I have a particular passion for supporting women in STEM, helping them build confidence and resilience to thrive in both academic and professional environments. During my time at Cambridge, I ran an outreach Twitter account aimed at demystifying the admissions process for prospective students. Before Cambridge, I studied at an all-girls comprehensive school, where I self-taught Further Maths in Year 13, achieving an A*. I believe I apply my learnings from this when teaching others.

Hello! I'm Tanya, a Cambridge Computer Science graduate with a 1st Class Degree (ranking 30/120 in my year group) and five years of tutoring experience, specialising in Oxbridge admissions. I've supported hundreds of students in building confidence for their Oxbridge journey, including personal statements, interview preparation courses, mock interviews, and more! My teaching style is friendly, patient, and all about building confidence in yourself. I believe that this is the key to performing well in the interview, and aim to leave my students feeling empowered!
