About Callum

I am an Oxford PPE graduate offering sessions covering the key aspects of the oxbridge admissions process. My sessions can be tailored to fit the needs of each individual student, and can include all of the following: personal statement advice and feedback, thinking skills assessment workshops, interview practice and advice on how to impress oxbridge tutors with extra curricula reading.

About the lesson

I tutor a number of subjects but specialise in my degree subjects: philosophy, politics and economics. Unlike most PPE students, I chose the tripartite route, meaning I studied all three subjects up to my final year. My tuition service can help students with the oxbridge admissions process in a number of ways: firstly I can guide students in the extra reading which is essential for any successful oxbridge candidate in any subjects relating to philosophy, politics or economics. Secondly, I have spoken to numerous Oxford tutors directly to find what they look for in a candidate, and can pass on this valuable information to tutees. Thirdly I look to offer tailored advice on each step of the admissions process, starting with personal statement advice (both helping with writing of the first drafts and offering feedback on later versions), masterclass sessions on the Thinking Skills Assessment and finally interview advise and mock interview sessions.
