About Ean Wai

Hi, I'm Isaac. I hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry and have experience both in academia and industry. During my Ph.D., I worked as a university tutor, guiding undergraduate students through practical and tutorial classes. Currently, I work as a chemist in the oleochemical industry, where I apply chemistry to solve real-world problems and also mentor interns.
I decided to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping students understand science. Throughout my studies and career, I've found that many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because the concepts are often not explained in a way that suits their learning style.

About the lesson

I simplify complex scientific concepts using diagrams, flow charts, molecular structures, and real-life analogies, helping students understand the "why" behind the topic rather than memorizing facts.

Drawing from my experience as a Ph.D. chemist, university tutor, and oleochemical industry professional, I connect textbook concepts to real-world applications to make learning more meaningful.
