About Cora
As a singing tutor with over 4 years of experience, I believe every voice can become an instrument of harmony and emotion. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnomusicology (Vocal Traditions), which shapes my deep appreciation for how voices connect across styles and cultures. My teaching focuses on vocal arrangement, harmony stacking, and creating rich textures for both solo and group performance. We explore how layers of sound build mood and movement. Lessons include A Cappella, Pop, Gospel, and R&B techniques, blending creativity with strong technical grounding. I also teach arranging, counter-melody development, and vocal blending. Students learn to shape their own vocal productions using modern music technology. I encourage improvisation and composition to keep learning fresh and personal. My students range from school singers to aspiring professionals preparing for auditions or studio work. Each lesson aims to strengthen both artistry and confidence. Join me in discovering how harmonies can transform voices into something truly powerful.

My teaching is built around the joy of collective singing. I help singers refine their tone, blend, and expression to shine within a group setting. Lessons focus on choral singing, vocal blending, and part-singing that strengthens ensemble unity. I guide learners through exercises that improve listening, tuning, and dynamic balance. Sight-reading and rhythm work are key elements of my lessons, helping students perform confidently in rehearsals and concerts. I specialize in helping both The Orchestra Member and The Crossover Artist adapt their vocal approach for choral or ensemble singing. My goal is to create a sound that’s rich and balanced, where every part connects smoothly. Each class combines technical practice with expressive performance. We explore how voices interact, layer, and support one another musically. I emphasize teamwork and awareness in every phrase. Students learn to sing not just notes, but with purpose and connection. Together, we’ll build harmony that inspires audiences and performers alike.
