About Katja
Philosophy graduate and qualified teacher with 22 years’ experience teaching students aged 11-18. I have taught international and domestic students online as well as in the physical classroom. In addition, I am an experienced EPQ and HPQ supervisor. Finally, I am also a published and prize-winning short story writer who can offer help with creative writing tasks or personal projects.

I have a warm, patient, personality, and a passion for my subject that will be infectious. I offer 45-90 minute lessons and, for an additional fee, can offer unique, flipped learning resources that allow students to consolidate, apply and deepen their subject knowledge before or after tutoring sessions. As an experienced examiner, I can also confidently mark and feed back on students’ practice exam papers at GCSE and A level.
