About Omar
I have over 20 years of professional experience playing all styles. As a professional song writer, I have played in countless bands, including top 40 cover bands—an indispensable education in what it means to get inside of what makes a great song! I can teach you songs and solos verbatim, or show you how to improvise and interpret the music in your own way. I have worked with producers, Mike Clink, Stuart Sikes and Andrew Murdock. With my own band I have shared bills with Mac Demarco, The Growlers, Natural Child Band and La Luz and many more.
