About Aaron
I am a pianist with over 17 years of experience playing in festivals, competitions, and a variety of ensembles. I came from a classical background and entered the jazz scene around 5 years ago. I've performed at major festivals including notably Un Lagos De Conciertos and have played in many gigs and studio sessions. Although I'm a jazz pianist I also enjoy playing other genres such as contemporary, fusion, classical, R&B styles. Over the years I have studied under many credible pianists such as Alex Conde, and Chris Foster. Their teaching styles have inspired me to pass down this knowledge to my own future students.

I aim to make my lessons engaging and interesting, as my number one belief is that students should feel passionate and inspired whenever they play their musical instrument. As a classically trained pianist, I strive to establish a strong technical foundation for my students first, as it is easier to translate and use in the jazz language. We'll visit and memorize a number of jazz standards, and written classical pieces too. I'm always excited to teach students eager to learn and explore new material and techniques. I'm happy to provide lessons 30-60 minutes in length and teach all ages!

Aaron is an inspiring and confident teacher who definitely knows his stuff. I would like to say I'm a pretty advanced player, but Aaron changed my view of jazz, helping me discover even more ways of playing which I haven't explored yet.
I've always wanted to play jazz, but I never knew the right way to approach it. Aaron helped me understand jazz language by guiding me through technical exercises and essential standards, where I learned how to play just like some of the musicians on my favorite jazz records such as Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, and Herbie Hancock.
