About Roza
Founded by Roza and Douglas Yoder, Studio Chopin reflects a lifelong commitment to musical excellence, artistic growth, and meaningful mentorship. For more than four decades, the studio has helped students develop confidence, discipline, creativity, and a deep appreciation for music in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Lessons take place on exceptional Steinway grand pianos, including a 9-foot concert grand, allowing students to experience the richness and responsiveness of world-class instruments from the very beginning of their studies. Whether a student is exploring music for the first time or pursuing ambitious artistic goals, we strive to make every lesson engaging, challenging, and rewarding.
At Studio Chopin, we believe that music education is about more than learning notes on a page—it is about developing skills, habits, and experiences that enrich a student's life for years to come.

Studio Chopin offers personalized classical piano instruction for children, teens, and adults of all experience levels, from complete beginners to advanced students preparing for conservatory auditions and competitions.
Our teaching combines more than 40 years of experience with the rich Eastern European piano tradition. Lessons focus on developing strong technique, musical understanding, artistic expression, and effective practice habits while remaining tailored to each student's individual goals and learning style.
Students study on Steinway grand pianos, including a 9-foot concert grand, in a dedicated professional teaching environment. While many of our students have gone on to institutions such as Juilliard, Curtis, Harvard, Stanford, USC, UCLA, and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, we welcome anyone who wishes to experience the joy and lifelong benefits of learning music.
