About Daniela

Origamist with over 15 years of experience using origami as a tool to promote creativity and as a tool for stress management. I am an industrial designer, with a Masters degree in innovation and design. Professor of creativity and innovation for more than 7 years in the university level, professor of origami as a creative tool since 2008.

About the lesson

My methodology is 20% theoretical and 80% practical, through the different models of origami, compositions and structures that are explored to promote creative thinking and the creative discipline. Through origami, creative, cultural and social aspects are transmitted. Always based on the concept that progress is achieved with perseverance, patience and work.

Perfect! Daniela is amazing! She was the perfect tutor for me. She is very knowledgeable, with both an academic background and many years of teaching and hands-on experience.

I like her origami values: simplicity, beauty, empathy, sharing, and an appreciation of origami as a form of movement. She has done research on the emotional and social dimensions of origami. Hard for me to imagine a better teacher.

Daniela es una apasionada y experta del universo del origami. Asistí a uno de sus talleres en Matadero y la experiencia fue increíble. Me abrió la mente a las posibilidades infinitas del papel. Y además en ese taller nos demostró científicamente cómo sirve para reducir el estrés. Daniela tiene una manera muy cercana de enseñar paso a paso y los materiales que utiliza los trae directamente de Japón.

Ojalá el origami fuese una asignatura incluida en el sistema educativo. Totalmente recomendables sus cursos.
