About Soni
With 5 years of hands-on teaching experience and over 150 students successfully trained, I specialise in comprehensive violin instruction for learners at all stages. My approach combines systematic technical training with motivational support to ensure balanced growth.
I focus on posture correction, controlled bowing, finger precision, tone clarity, and rhythmic consistency as the foundation for all learning. As students gain confidence, I gradually introduce complex techniques, expressive interpretation, and performance readiness. I personalise lessons to suit each student’s strengths and goals, whether learning for performances, academic programmes, or personal enrichment.

My violin teaching approach focuses on communication, adaptability, and consistent progress. I explain each concept in simple language and demonstrate techniques clearly to ensure full understanding.
Since students have different learning preferences, I modify my teaching style to suit their needs. I emphasise strong basics in posture, bow grip, tone development, intonation accuracy, and rhythm stability before introducing complex pieces. Along with violin technique, I cover music theory, scale practice, ear training, sight reading, ensemble coordination, and music appreciation.
I use real-life examples from concerts, competitions, and examination settings to help students gain practical knowledge and confidence. I also provide structured practice routines and regular feedback. My ultimate goal is to help students become confident, technically strong, and passionate violinists.
