During this first lesson, I evaluated Yazeed's level in French and we talked about the goals of our future lessons. Yazeed would like to prepare for the IB exam in French and we agreed that the main focus of the lessons would be the speaking. Nevertheless, we will also work on other aspects like grammar, reading, comprehension and culture as well. To wrap up the sessions, we worked on the last unit studied in school "les rapports sociaux" and read a text about this theme comparing how it is implemented in 3 different French speaking countries/regions: Algeria, Quebec and Louisiana (New Orleans).
