About Nawres
I’m a dedicated and approachable Optometry graduate from Cardiff University, currently in the final stage of my MSc in Optometry and Ophthalmology at University College London (UCL). With a strong academic background and a passion for clinical excellence, I’m committed to helping optometry students build their confidence and succeed in their studies. I understand the challenges of the undergraduate journey and aim to provide clear, supportive guidance that’s tailored to each student’s needs. My experience mentoring and supporting peers has equipped me with the patience, empathy, and clarity needed to make complex topics more accessible and engaging.

As a final-stage MSc Optometry student at UCL and a graduate of Cardiff University’s BSc Optometry programme, I offer personalised, student-centred clinical tutoring tailored to the needs of undergraduate optometry students. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex clinical concepts, building confidence through active discussion, and reinforcing understanding with real-life case examples. Lessons are typically 1 to 2 hours long, depending on the student's needs, and are delivered online in a supportive, engaging environment. I draw on both strong academic training and practical experience to guide students through key areas such as clinical decision-making and more. Each session is designed to meet you at your level and support your success.

I can't recommend Nawres enough! She is outstanding with such incredible knowledge. She is very patient, supportive, and very passionate. Whether it was visual optics, ocular diseases, dispensing, clinical techniques, anything - she explained so clearly and made sure I truly understood the content.
