About Rachel
I have worked 3+ years providing ABA services within in-home, private school, natural environment/CBI as well as leading social skills groups and working across the ages of 2.5-22 years old with individuals on the Autism spectrum. My clients have had varying levels of skill, and using applied behavioral analysis techniques I have taught a wide variety of educational, social, and behavioral goals. I also have experience writing IEP/Treatment plans; behavior intervention plans, and parent reports as well as assessment using many standardized assessments (VBMAPP, ABLLS, etc). I have experience using sign language and AAC devices. I thrive as a leader, have excellent communication among staff, promote a positive work place, provide feedback and work timely, and I am always an efficient and reliable worker.
I always advocate for human rights and the rights of people with special needs, and I have a passion for helping others. I also have an adult brother with Autism.
I am a BCBA, Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst by the Virginia Board of Medicine.
