About Vinícius
I began studying piano at the age of eight at the Escola Municipal de Iniciação Artística (EMIA) in São Paulo under the guidance of Professor Silvia Chiapetta. I later joined the Magda Tagliaferro Foundation, where I participated in recitals and masterclasses that played a fundamental role in my musical development.
In 2019, I began studying with Professor Luiz Guilherme Pozzi at the University of São Paulo (USP), and the following year I was admitted to the São Paulo State School of Music (EMESP). In 2022, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Orchestral Conducting from USP, and in 2026 I completed a Master's degree in Contemporary Piano at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe (Germany), where I studied under Professor Markus Stange and Professor Dr. Anna Zassimova.
Throughout my training, I attended masterclasses with internationally renowned pianists, including Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Nikolai Lugansky, Paavali Jumppanen, and Alessio Bax.
I have extensive experience in chamber music and as a collaborative pianist, and have participated in projects with the University of São Paulo Chamber Orchestra (OCAM) and the University of São Paulo Symphony Orchestra (OSUSP). I was a finalist in the Guiomar Novaes Piano Competition for three consecutive editions (2020–2022), the Almeida Prado Piano Competition (2021), and the 2nd Gilberto Tinetti Piano Competition (2023). In 2021, I was awarded First Prize at the 30th Souza Lima Piano Competition. I was also awarded a scholarship by the Sociedade Cultura Artística through the Magda Tagliaferro Program.
As a teacher, I tailor each lesson to the student's goals and level, combining technical development, musical understanding, and the cultivation of artistic independence at the piano. I teach students of all levels, from beginners to advanced pianists preparing for university entrance exams, competitions, and professional artistic development.
Alongside my artistic and teaching activities, I conduct research in Musical Interpretation and Aesthetics, with a particular focus on the philosophical thought of Theodor W. Adorno and Walter Benjamin.

During our first meeting, we will discuss your musical background, goals, and interests. Based on this conversation, I will design a personalized learning plan built around four core pillars:
Technique & Body Awareness
Exercises focused on finger strength, flexibility, and healthy playing habits, combined with ear training and the development of musical perception.
Reading & Fluency
Targeted methods to improve sight-reading, helping students build confidence, independence, and a natural understanding of musical notation.
Practice & Repertoire
Study of carefully selected repertoire, with emphasis on tone production, musical expression, posture, technique, and artistic interpretation.
Listening & Historical Context
Critical listening to classical and contemporary repertoire, exploring musical styles, historical and cultural contexts, and the artistic development of major composers.
