About Michał

Music is my profession, my job, and my greatest passion in life. I have been teaching continuously for 16 years, and I have been gaining stage and studio experience for over 20 years. I have a full musical education: • Primary Music School in Wadowice • Secondary Music School in Żywiec • University of Silesia - Jazz and Popular Music, guitar class with Dr. hab. Karol Ferfecki, Master of Arts degree. I am a professional guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. I play electric, acoustic, and classical guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, mandolin, and banjo. I also have experience playing piano and keyboard. Over the years, I have performed and collaborated with many Polish and international artists, including I've collaborated with Beata Kozidrak, Justyna Steczkowska, Ania Dąbrowska, Michał Wiśniewski, Grzegorz Skawiński, Michał Szpak, Sławek Uniatowski, Sebastian Riedel, Grubson, Katarzyna Moś, Magda Steczkowska, Chris Cugowski, Ryszard Poznańkowski, and international artists such as LaShonda Reese, Belinda Adams, Nathan James, Thomas Armstrong-Robley, and Vova Dylan. I also have experience working in international music productions and shows, including on cruise ships and in the production of "The Choir of Man," where I played guitar, banjo, and mandolin. In my teaching, I combine knowledge gained from music schools and colleges with practical stage experience. It's important to me that students not only be able to play a specific piece, but also understand the instrument, develop their technique, ear, rhythm, musicality, and be able to develop independently. I work with children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to advanced and professional musicians. I also teach in English.

About the lesson

I offer individual online guitar lessons for students in Warsaw and throughout Poland. I teach electric, acoustic, and classical guitar, as well as rock, jazz, blues, funk, pop, country, and other genres. I always tailor the curriculum to the student's level, interests, and goals. I work with beginners, intermediate, advanced, and professional players. During lessons, we can work on topics such as: • left and right-hand technique • learning specific pieces • chord playing and accompaniment • rhythm, timing, and groove • scales and improvisation • building and analyzing solos • practical music theory and harmony • playing from sheet music, tablature, and by ear • sound and conscious use of equipment • preparing for band playing, performance, or recording • composing and arranging your own songs. I don't teach all students to a single, rigid program. First, I determine what you already know, what your goals are, and where your biggest challenges lie. Then, I select the material to structure your learning and lead to tangible progress. During classes, I pay close attention to technique, rhythm, articulation, and eliminating bad habits. I also strive to teach you how to practice independently and effectively, so that your time spent with the instrument yields the most results. I have been teaching continuously for 16 years and combine my teaching experience with over 20 years of stage and studio practice. This allows me to provide not only theoretical knowledge but also solutions derived from the real-life work of a professional musician. Online classes can be 30, 45, 60, 90, or 120 minutes long. Longer, less frequent lessons are also available, for example, for those with irregular schedules.
