About Evelyn

I was born in Germany, but grew up in the UK, achieving a BA and MA at University College, London. Some years school experience. Knowledge of German literature. Strong in speaking, grammar, comprehension and good communication skills. I have been online tutoring for a year and work from a standard textbook with an easy starting point. I approach each topic methodically and then question my student to achieve a solid comprehension of how to communicate in German. I am patient and kind, and hope my students are the same.

About the lesson

In German studies, I present my topics in a lively and fun way, using a textbook, which helps keep the momentum going. This begins with simple sentences and a small amount of grammar each week which builds up gradually to provide a solid structure to the language. Yet I do this by questioning the student about them, building from simple to slightly more complicated as the student can manage it, as no two students are the same.
