About Ghazal

My name is Ghazal and I am a German teacher. I grew up with two mother tongues, which are German and Farsi. I also speak english, Hindi and a bit of spanish. I graduated from University of Hildesheim / Germany in Philosophy and Media. I teach German since 2016 and work also as a translator with ministry of migration in Germany. I have experience with teaching beginners as well as advance students. So it doesn't matter where you are on your path of learning German, I would be glad to help you reach your goals. **** My name is Ghazal and I am a German teacher. German and Persian are my mother tongues. I also speak English, Hindi and a little bit of Spanish. I studied philosophy and media at the University of Hildesheim. I have been teaching German for 5 years and also work as a translator at the Federal Office for Migration in Germany.

About the lesson

For me teaching a language is a creative and extremely interesting process. My approach to teaching and the methods I use vary from student to student and their goals. For me it is important to discuss the individual needs and expectations at the very beginning. Based on this, I can design the learning material and make an individual learning plan. I do make sure to give each student a strong grammatic basic, but from personal experience I also know that this is not enough to speak a language fluently. To help you overcome the fear of speaking a foreign language, I also focus a lot on the improvement of an accurate pronunciation and speaking / communicating skills. Langauge is a living phenomena which flows and evolves within a culture in peoples every day life. Unstanding the culture and its conventions is necessary if you want to gain deeper understanding of the language and prepare yourself for real life situations. So it is also my task bring german culture to you and help you understanding it! Ill use class material in the form of texts, videos and audios which reflect peoples every day life in Germany and shows their costums, habits and life style. We will also discuss very specific daily life situations on street, at work or at school and practice speaking and correct communication in that specific context. ******* For me, teaching a language is a creative and extremely interesting process.
