About Florina
Someone said: "You are here to do something that no one else can do, but you can do it." I have found my calling in this life and it is fashion. That's my passion and I love to do it! This doesn't mean I'm the only one who does good fashion or teaches fashion well. Not at all! And good of course is relative. Each of us sees fashion through their own eyeglasses and shapes their ideas with their own authenticity. And authenticity in fashion can only be good.
Why teaching? I love not just to share my knowledge but also my passion for fashion with people who are interested in this topic. It is not so important for me if I inspire my student with my designs or with my lessons the most important is I can share my passion with them. It is a very special feeling to prepare them for the life as a designer. It fascinates and
motivates me to see students, who in the beginning weren't able to do that much, are evolving and full of joy are entering their future career in fashion. The best moment for me is when I feel the gratitude that I was the support along this way, so students keep in touch for a long time to tell me how it's going on. This great feeling confirms me again and again that this profession is my destiny.
I habe a bachelor and a master degree in fashion design and more years experience as freelance fashion designer and fashion lecturer.

The course will take place via Skype and will be individually tailored to your needs. One session lasts 2h. Depending on your progress and previous knowledge, we will decide together the entire length of the course. We will decide also together the frequency of sessions, depending on your rhythm. Previous knowledge are not required.
The course is perfect for:
- anyone who wants to learn fashion design easily from home
- anyone who is passionate about fashion design
- anyone who wants to develop their creative skills in fashion
- all who are preparing themselves for a fashion study (portfolio)
- all those who want to start their own fashion label, but don't have the time to study.
You get to know the whole process of a collection development - from idea to sketch and then to the technical fashion drawings – and that's the bridge between design and production. It is very important to know the whole process in order to create a meaningful, structured collection.
