About Lorraine
I am Lorraine and I am passionate about teaching children. I live in sunny South Africa. I love reading and I love cats. I do part-time English writing for American companies' websites, google posts, and blogs. I am currently teaching English at a local preparatory school for grade 2 and 3 students. I have over the years assisted my son with his GED homeschooling program and I assisted my boss's daughter with her homeschooling program which was the Chista McAllife Academy School of Arts and Science. I am available immediately and I am excited to start teaching YOU online.

I will identify where you need the most learning and focus on that. I believe for beginner students or students who may already know some English but are struggling in some way or another, the best practice is to start at the basics. I will use various materials designed to improve each individual's capabilities.
English is a complex language, however, I will simplify it as much as possible for better understanding and comprehension. Each lesson will start with the alphabet, spelling, and reading. Additional materials and props will be used to engage the students in the class and assist them with daily English usage. I am currently working with students at a preparatory school who are aged between 8 and 10 years old.
