Francesca Turchetti, born in Rome in 1996, began studying classical guitar at the age of 10 together with Maestro Luca Margoni. Encouraged by the latter, she tried admission to the then newborn Liceo Musicale Farnesina in Rome and was admitted with 9.85 points. It will thus begin to scale the first stages and in prestigious halls such as the Auditorium Parco della Musica, Teatro Cassia, Auditorium Due Pini in Rome, the Accademia Filarmonica Romana, the Academic Hall of the Conservatory S. Cecilia in Rome and the Circle "Villa Spada" in Rome. After graduating, she entered the "S. Cecilia" Conservatory in Rome and graduated at the Triennale in classical guitar with top marks in September 2018. From A.A. 2015/2016 will perform in numerous performances, as in the Palazzo Pamphilj, Sala Palestrina - headquarters of the Brazilian Embassy in Piazza Navona in Rome, at Palazzo Rospigliosi in the city of Zagarolo, in the Casa del Jazz in Viale di Porta Ardeatina in Rome, Teatro Orione in Rome. He will take part in a project of the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in collaboration with the Costa Crociere and will board two cruises of the same fleet (January and April 2016) on which he will perform concerts as a soloist, in ensemble of guitars and in orchestra. On the occasion of the Guit Fest 2016 he attended the masterclasses of international artists such as Maestro Manuel Barrueco, Lorenzo Micheli, Arturo Tallini, Massimo Delle Cese and the Piano Master Laszlo Stacho, but also of Maestro Elena Papandreou, Maestro Domenico Ascione, by Maestro Frederic Zigante, Pierluigi Corona and Marco Tamayo. From September 2016 he began the study of flamenco guitar and guitar composition/ arrangement with Maestro Sandro Bagazzini.From August 2017 he takes part in the guitar ensemble of eight elements "Teacup8". The latter boasts of numerous concerts and a very ambitious repertoire that ranges from the 600 to the present day. Since September 2018 he has a quintet composed of the stable Bagazzini Guitar Trio (Sandro Bagazzini, Andrea Magliocchetti and Francesca Turchetti), violinist Carla Mulas Gonzales and percussionist Federico Buccini. Since March 2019 he has been studying flamenco guitar with Manuel Montero Miranda. He currently attends the second year of the biennium to achieve specialization in flamenco guitar, in the Higher Institute of Musical Studies G. Briccialdi (Terni); he collaborates with the school of flamenco baile "La Roca Flamenco" as guitarist accompanist of cante and baile. She has always aspired to solo guitar composition, eager to create a perfect union between her greatest loves: classical music and Andalusian music.
