About Lucie
Originally from Pau, in the southwest of France, I lived in Spain and Brazil before moving to Paris over five years ago. I studied international relations and urban planning, and my current job combines both of these fields.
I have been passionate about learning languages since I was a teenager. I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently, and have previously studied several other languages, including Arabic and German.
I am a curious person who loves learning new things and is interested in many topics.

My goal is to help you make progress in French in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere, so you feel more confident to communicate in real life situations.
I am a serious, motivated teacher, and I put my students' progress and well-being first. I prepare my courses according to your needs, relying on varied media adapted to your interests and objectives (videos, music, podcasts, manuals, press articles, etc.).
I help you enrich your vocabulary thanks to authentic documents in French and by practicing real-life scenarios and conversations. I teach you colloquial and everyday expressions to help you speak French in a modern and natural way.
I also deal with the cultural aspects of the language, such as the use of familiarity and informality, language registers and even regional differences. I help you adapt to different contexts: professional French, daily life, informal conversations, etc.
After each lesson, I send you a summary of what we worked on together including the vocabulary and expressions to remember. To help you progress more quickly, I offer additional resources to work independently and integrate French into your daily life.
