About Jace
I bring 15+ years of experience teaching engineering and CAD, including PLTW-style design concepts, and make CAD approachable for beginner students. I have experience teaching elementary, middle, high school, and college students. My degree is in Industrial Technology Education from Fort Hays State University.

Students don’t just learn which buttons to click—they learn how to think like designers and engineers. My lessons are built specifically for kids and teens, using beginner-friendly tools and clear, step-by-step instruction that makes CAD approachable and fun.
I focus on project-based learning, so students create real designs (not just follow along). This builds confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills that carry over into school, STEM programs, and future engineering or design classes.
For older students, my instruction aligns well with PLTW-style coursework, helping them understand design intent, measurements, and iteration—skills that often cause frustration in class when students are learning CAD for the first time.
